Part 16 of my interview with a very healthy octogenarian:
Q: Regarding your friend with cancer, do you believe she was eating the wrong foods and the wrong foods were what was fueling the cancer?
A: That’s correct. And that is what this is all about. That’s what you and I have talked about today, is that the standard American diet is what causes the cancer. And you have to stop feeding the cancer. When you eliminate the foods that the cancer thrives on, the cancer shrinks up and goes away. Because it can’t live in that environment. So the person that has the problem, you see, has to understand that. And a lot of people don’t understand that because they haven’t read enough literature or they don’t want to read the literature, or they’re unhappy. It goes right back to this power of the subconscious mind that – I remember a man named Robert Rodale, who was the president and owner of Prevention Magazine. Way back in the ‘50s, had written the book and he has said that he had done some investigating about people who die of cancer. And he would go to the families and talk to them, and investigate, interview them about the person that had died. And he concluded, after hundreds of people, that happy people rarely die of cancer. And so I said to her at that time – in fact, I told her things like I’m telling you right now – that you have to have a positive attitude. And if you really believe – and she did.
She had – she showed me some things that I hadn’t known about, because she had read different authors and listened to tapes of different authors, and had practiced Reiki and different kinds of – she’d gone to people with hands-on healing. And she was determined to find a way to get healthy, and I think she just used another facet, as we call it, and she’s around today and very healthy.

Reiki is hard to master, but i would really love to learn it in a short period of time `:”
